The Douglas County Justice Center is a hub of activity in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Join us as Deputy Jason Blanchard leads our group on an interesting tour of this large facility.

Housing the 18th Judicial Court, as well as the Douglas County Sherrif's office, we will get up close and personal at many of the departments and sections within this sleek, modern, county building. 

This will provide an opportunity to see the Douglas County Sheriff's office in action!

 

TRANSPORTATION IS ON YOUR OWN.  We will meet in the lobby at 1 pm

Presented by Colorado Christian University , 2:30pm

Guys and Dolls takes us from bustle of Times Square to the dance clubs of Havana to the sewers of New York City as it demonstrates the great lengths to which a guy will go when he truly falls in love with a “doll.”

Cost:  $12  for HRHS Members      $14 for Non-HRHS Members

Round Trip RTD Transportation cost is $2.60 cash, paid directly to the RTD bus driver

Meeting location is the Dad Clark Park and Ride at University and Dad Clark Dr.   Park near the Bus loading area.

Always...Patsy Cline is based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. Focusing on the fateful evening at Houston’s Esquire Ballroom when Seger hears of Cline’s death in a plane crash, Seger supplies a nar­rative while Cline floats in and out of the set singing tunes that made her famous–Anytime, Walkin’ After Midnight, She’s Got You, Sweet Dreams, and Crazy–to name a few.

John Anderson, author and presenter, will lead this moderate hike/walk around beautiful Fox Run Regional Park, in Black Forest,  North Colorado Springs, to see many Ute Indian Prayer Trees.     This tour will follow a different trail thru Fox Run, to see trees that will not be seen on the July 2018 Field Trip.  Transportation is on your own to the venue, in North Colorado Springs/Black Forest.  We will meet in the parking lot of the Rollercoaster Rd. Trailhead.  Parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged.  .  Detailed driving directions will be provided before the field trip.  Visit the park website for   video, photos, and more info.   Suggest bringing a brown bag lunch to enjoy on your own after the tour.
